bexx confirmed for Notts Pride 23 line up
Notts rising star bexx’s signature brand of cathartic, maximalist alt-pop has marked her out as one to watch. Taking inspiration from the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen and Fickle Friends, her debut EP ‘SUCKER’ (out July 28) is a collection of tongue-in-cheek anti-love songs to dance, laugh and cry to. This is bexx second time at Notts Pride and we are excited to see her back.
What Pride means to me: Pride is a call to action, reminding us that the rights we have now were hard-won and that we have to keep standing up for them. For me, this year it’s especially about showing our support for the trans community. When one group’s freedoms are restricted, we are all infinitely worse off.
